Aberdeen F.C. directors officials and players attended the funeral yesterday of Mr Allan M. Robertson, the club's secretary for fifteen years.

He was buried in Trinity Cemetery in a grave overlooking the club's playing pitch at Pittodrie Park, near where Councillor James Philip, former Aberdeen F.C. manager, was laid to rest. The coffin was carried from the house at 32 Seafield Drive East to the hearse by four players—Messrs Dick Donald, Herbert Currer, Frank Dunlop and Bod Temple—while at the cemetery the bearers were Messrs Robert M'Dermid, W. Cooper, W. Scott, F. Dunlop, G. Thomson and H. Currer.

The pall-bearers were Messrs A. E. Fraser, John Rae, W. Mitchell, vice chairman of the club directors; James Finnie, Harry Sim, Alexander Walt, Robert M'Dermid and G. Clubb.

In addition to Messrs Mitchell and Finnie, other directors of the club present were Messrs W. Philip, G. A. Anderson, C. B. Forbes and J. D. Robbie. Mr David Halliday, the manager, was also present with Mr Pat Travers, Clyde F.C. manager, formerly of Aberdeen F.C., and Mr W. Mitchell Smith, of Messrs Bower and Smith, chartered accountants, who are auditors to Aberdeen F.C.

Others present were Mr G. S. Fraser, town clerk, and Deputy Chief Constable Groat. Among the wreaths were floral tributes from Aberdeen F.C. directors and players, Clyde and St Johnstone clubs and Aberdeenshire and District Football Association. The Rev. J. K. Wilkin officiated at the graveside.
